Current Measures and Code of Conduct

We will keep you updated about all the necessary steps we are taking to protect guests and employees.
We take the measures and rules implemented by our government very seriously - for the protection of us all.
Currently, the following rules apply in Tirol. Should the safety and hygiene measures be changed by the Federal Government, we will immediately adhere to these and implement them in our hotel.

Cancellation due to Covid-19

If you cannot make your trip for reasons concerning Covid-19, your stay will be cancelled free of charge and rebooked on another date within the next 2 years. The deposit always remains and is not refundable.

Reasons for a free cancellation:

  • Your home country issues a travel warning for Tyrol, and you cannot enter the country despite proof of vaccination or proof of recovery (incl. PCR test).
  • The borders of Tyrol or your home country are closed.
  • You have to go into quarantine on your way back home, even though you have proof of vaccination or a convalescence certificate.
  • You fall ill with Covid-19 in advance and a journey is not possible

In times like these, much is still uncertain. But we would still like you to feel safe.
That's why, we have decided to cooperate with the Europäische Reiseversicherung (European Travel Insurance).
With the hotel cancellation insurance from Europäische Reiseversicherung you are well protected!

For all other reasons, our general cancellation conditions shall continue to apply.

We will remain excited about your stay and all payments already made will be converted into vouchers or refunded.

Clean and Safe

We are opening our Kraftalm in December 2020.
You can be sure, that all measures are complied with and that our new hotel follows all guidelines. Our employees have been highly trained and will be extra careful.
Thorough cleaning and disinfection of all objects in the hotel goes without saying for us.
We have scrutinised our cleaning and hygiene concept and then reworked it, so that every single guest and employee can feel safe.


As we are only opening in the middle of December, we will adopt the rules and precautions applicable at that time in our hotel. We are all sure that with some necessary respect for the situation and a good portion of “common sense”, we can also have a wonderful time in the mountains this year.

Safety in the SkiWelt

Those responsible for the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental have also decided on clear rules and measures in the SkiWelt.

  • Face masks covering the mouth and nose are mandatory in all gondolas and chair lifts as well as T-Bar or drag lifts.
  • Face masks covering the mouth and nose are mandatory in all enclosed spaces of the ski lifts, such as ticket offices, shops, ski stores, toilets and restaurants.
  • Weekly testing of all cable car employees for Covid-19
  • Daily disinfection of the gondolas by cold foggers.
  • All entry gondolas will start at 8am.
